Go Game
Go is said to be the oldest board game in the world. The rules are very simple, and you can learn them in a few minutes - but they lead to a countless number of intriguing patterns and clever manoeuvres.
Go is played on a grid, usually of 19 x 19 intersections and sometimes smaller boards, 13 x 13 or 9 x 9 are used for shorter games. The game is played by two players, one white and one Black which always starts. For simplicity the diagrams in these rules use a 7x7 grid.
Players alternately place their “stones” on the intersections of the lines. Once a stone is placed on the board, it stays in that place unless it is captured and removed from the board.
