Small Rocket Carousel Fairground Tin Toy - Collectable Tin Toy

Pull - lever carousel, that keeps it's compartments elevated via chains. A rocket carousel with 4 different coloured rockets (green, red, blue, and yellow), and a beautifully decorated base. The base has a boats and ocean decoration, which is underneath a beach - circus scene, which in turn is underneath a clown and balloons scenario. The chains are attached to the base of the rockets, and a disc, which is kept in place at the centre pole via a flag. 12cm high. 16cm wide.

All of our tin toys are reproduced using the same manufacturing techniques employed in the mid-19th century. Being somewhat primitive compared to modern manufacturing methods, the toys sometimes have little marks or scratches which add to their authentic quirky nature.
