Large Fire Engine with ladder - Collectable Tin Toy

Friction driven motor with extendable ladder. When the front bumper is pressed the ladder jumps into action, slowly raising itself whilst sounding the bells. To re-spring the ladder, simply push it back down and push the bumper in to lock it into place. 27 cm long.

All of our tin toys are reproduced using the same manufacturing techniques employed in the mid-19th century. Being somewhat primitive compared to modern manufacturing methods, the toys sometimes have little marks or scratches which add to their authentic quirky nature.
