Blue Motor Racer clockwork toy - Collectable Tin Toy

Wind - up, tin toy, racing motorcycle. The bike is blue with a racing no. "3" on the fuel tank and a racer dressed in red. The bike is propelled by wheels at the base. There is also a metal rod controlled by the clockwork engine, the rod will suddenly stick out of the base of the bike, causing the bike to turn as if it's about to take a corner. Length 17cm approx.

All of our tin toys are reproduced using the same manufacturing techniques employed in the mid-19th century. Being somewhat primitive compared to modern manufacturing methods, the toys sometimes have little marks or scratches which add to their authentic quirky nature.
